Privacy Policy
The short version
ELYSI Events is a small local business owned and operated by Haily Webb in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. We collect only what we need to plan your event — your name, email, phone, event date, and what you tell us about your gathering. We don't sell your information, we don't run ads on this site, and we don't track you around the web. If you ever want your information deleted, just email booking@elysievents.com and we'll take care of it.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
Information you give us directly
- Inquiry form: name, email, phone (optional), event date, and the details you share about your event.
- Newsletter signup: your email address.
- Direct messages: anything you send us by email, text, Instagram DM, or Facebook message.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting logs: our website host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, and pages visited — for security and abuse prevention. We don't access these logs day-to-day.
- No tracking pixels, no analytics, no advertising cookies. This site does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and plan your event.
- To send delivery confirmations, invoices, and follow-ups about your specific booking.
- To send the occasional newsletter or seasonal menu — only if you signed up.
- To improve our services and remember what worked at past events you've booked with us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We share information only with the service providers we use to run the business, and only the minimum needed:
- Netlify — hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Email + payment providers — the tools we use to send invoices and accept deposits.
- Law enforcement — only if legally required.
How long we keep it
Inquiry and booking records are kept as long as we have an active or potential client relationship, plus a reasonable period for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years). Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies. The only browser storage on this site is used by our internal admin tool to remember photo selections — that data stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in the email, or by emailing us.
- Request a copy of the information we have on you.
- Request deletion of your information (subject to record-keeping requirements).
- Correct any information that's wrong.
To exercise any of these, email booking@elysievents.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Our services are designed for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
